Turquoise bays, quiet islands, hill temples and city lights — personal Thailand journeys, thoughtfully paced and designed by travelers, for travelers.
Why OurTaleOfTravel
We plan Thailand the way we like to travel — island days timed around the crowds, stays picked for the view, and time left simply to be there.
Every route is built to avoid crowds at peak spots — and take you to places most operators never include.
No generic chain hotels. We hand-pick boutique stays and nature-rooted properties that feel like part of the trip.
No 6-cities-in-7-days. Our pacing gives you space to actually feel the place — not just photograph it.
Every package is reviewed and refined by us personally. If we wouldn't travel this way, we won't sell it.
Thailand Packages
Every journey can be shaped around you — designed around experience, not a checklist. Tell us your pace, and we handle the rest.
Starting prices are per person on twin sharing, excluding flights, and were worked out on earlier sample dates. Your final price depends on your dates and requirements; Christmas–New Year and long weekends cost more.
The Thailand You Came For

Turquoise Phuket · Krabi & Phuket HoneymoonMonkey Beach, Pileh Cove and Viking Cave, snorkelling over coral and a slow afternoon on Khai Island’s white sand.
Turquoise Phuket · Krabi & Phuket HoneymoonYour own longtail boat, a Thai picnic dinner on the sand as the sun goes down — and glowing plankton in the water after dark.
Krabi & Phuket HoneymoonA turquoise pool in the rainforest, natural hot springs and the hilltop Tiger Cave Temple, with a Thai lunch on the way.
Krabi & Phuket HoneymoonA full day north with your own driver-guide to Wat Rong Khun and the temples around Chiang Rai.
Temples & City LightsCool air at 2,565 m on Thailand’s highest peak, twin royal pagodas, a Karen village and Wachirathan Waterfall.
Temples & City LightsThe best Thailand moments aren't at the famous spots. They're in the quiet ones nobody told you about.
Our Story
OurTaleOfTravel was born from a deep, personal love for travel — years spent exploring the world and discovering places most itineraries never think to include.
What we found along the way was that most travel felt rushed, overcrowded, and oddly forgettable. Packed buses to the same viewpoints. Hotels that could be anywhere. Days timed to the minute.
So we built something different. Every package we offer is one we'd take ourselves — unhurried, immersive, rooted in nature, and built around the kind of moments you actually remember.
Day by Day Itinerary
A glimpse into how we pace a trip. No rushed mornings. No checkbox tourism.
Thailand Travel Guide
The essentials before you go — and yes, we walk you through every one of these personally once you book.
November to March is cool and dry across most of Thailand. The Andaman coast (Phuket, Krabi, Phi Phi) is calmest November to April; May to October brings monsoon showers and rougher seas. Chiang Mai is at its coolest November to February.
Thai Baht (THB). Cards work in hotels and malls; carry cash for markets, street food and park fees. Thai immigration may ask to see about THB 10,000 per person (THB 20,000 per family) in cash on arrival.
Indian passport holders can currently visit visa-free for tourism, for up to 30 days. Every traveller must also fill in the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online in the 3 days before arrival. Rules change — we confirm the latest before you fly.
Direct flights connect major Indian cities with Bangkok, and several with Phuket. Krabi and Chiang Mai are a short hop from Bangkok, with some direct options. We advise the smartest routing for your dates.
Warm and humid most of the year — light cotton, sunscreen and a hat. Evenings in Chiang Mai and up on Doi Inthanon can be cool in winter, so pack a layer.
Cover shoulders and knees at temples and take your shoes off where asked. A simple “sawasdee” (hello) and “khop khun” (thank you) go a long way.
A Thai eSIM or airport SIM gives cheap, fast data nationwide. Wi-Fi is good in hotels and cities, patchier out on the islands.
Airport and city transfers are arranged for you, island days run by speedboat or longtail, and longer hops — Krabi to Phuket by road, Chiang Mai to Bangkok by a short flight — are planned into the route.
Honeymooners, families, friend groups and first-time Asia travellers who want beaches, culture and food at an easy pace.
